The Noroton 18 Canoe is a wooden strip built canoe. It is a pleasure to paddle in flatwater; such as lakes, meandering rivers, and ocean bays and coves. It is 18 feet long, and 39 inches wide and designed for stability and ease of handling. Construction Techniques
We combine the fine art of woodworking and the technology of fiberglass to produce a beautiful canoe to be enjoyed for years to come with little or no maintenance. The strips and traditional pattern are made from several varieties of cedar. The gunwales and seats are made from ash. Quality and care are built into each boat.
